Actress Jamie Lee Curtis shared a photo of several children looking at the sky on Instagram on Saturday (October 7, the day of Hamas’ attack on Israel), captioning the post, “Terror from the Skies.” from the sky”) and an emoji of the Israeli flag. This was reported by “Yahoo News”. She wanted to express her support for Israel.
Children of Gaza: The Origin of the Image
The photo was originally taken by Gaza-based photojournalist Samar Abu Elouf – but she described the scene in her own post: “Palestinian families seek refuge with their children in the northern Gaza Strip.”

“ALL CHILDREN should be protected in wars!”
After Curtis noticed her mistake, the post was deleted. Instead there is now a neutral picture in black and white of running children. In the caption, the American promotes two organizations that are currently working to protect children. She writes:
“ALL CHILDREN should be protected in wars. With @my_hand_in_yours we are dedicated to the care and treatment of critically ill or injured children. @childrensla will treat EVERY child regardless of whether their family is able to pay. Let us pray for peace.”
