The police have been busy tonight with a chase through the Emmermeer district in Emmen. A car tore away for unknown reason when agents wanted to carry out a check.
The chase ended on a lawn on Nijkampenweg, where the car came to a halt. The driver then fled on foot. The police are looking for the fugitive.
