A motorist crashed into a tree early this morning along the Europaweg in Hoogeveen.
Around half past five, the driver missed a gentle bend for an unknown reason. The car therefore came to a stop against the tree.
The car driver was checked in an ambulance, but did not have to be taken to hospital. The police are investigating the accident.
