A motorist died on Thursday evening in a crash against a tree on the gagel in the outskirts of Hooge Mierde. The car was on the way around ten to half past seven from Reusel to Hooge Mierde and bumped around a hundred meters after a bend against a tree on the left side of the road.
The driver was killed by the heavy collision. A trauma helicopter and several emergency services came to the accident, but could not mean anything to the victim anymore.
The police are investigating the deadly accident and the road is being cleared. The road is closed to traffic for the handling of the accident.
