On the N371 between Meppel and Havelte a car got off the road this morning. The car rammed a tree.
The driver was released from the car by the emergency services and was then taken to the hospital. It is not known how the victim is like.
A recovery company has removed the heavily damaged car. The N371 has been closed for clean -up work and police investigation for the time being.
