This afternoon, a motorist ended up in a meadow next to the A28 near De Wijk via the roadside and a frozen ditch. The driver was injured and taken to hospital by ambulance.
The accident happened between De Wijk and De Schiphorst. It is not known how the driver lost control of the car. One lane was closed so that a tow truck could remove the car.
