A woman was injured this morning in an accident on the Antares in Klazienaveen. For unknown reasons, she lost control of her car and came to a stop in an adjacent ditch.
The fire brigade helped to remove the injured woman from the car. She was trapped in the vehicle. The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance.
As far as we know, no other road users were involved in the accident. The police are investigating how the accident could have happened.
