A motorcyclist was injured this afternoon in an accident on the Rijksstraatweg between De Punt and Glimmen. For an unknown reason, the driver fell and collided with a car.
Ambulance staff attended to the driver and took him to hospital. Due to the treatment, part of the road was closed in both directions.
