Motorcyclist (78) from Vleteren dies after accident in Diksmuide: “He was still straight, but then lost consciousness”

On the IJzerdijk in Diksmuide in West Flanders, a tragic traffic accident happened on Friday around 1.40 pm with a fatal outcome. A 78-year-old man from Vleteren left his life there after he lost control of his motorcycle when a van wanted to catch up. At the wheel of the van was a 57-year-old man from Lo-Reninge.
