The final weekend of the 2025 MotoGP season opens with Jack Miller in front of everyone. The Pramac Yamaha rider closes FP1 with the best time, stopping the clock in 1’30″382. The Australian signs the lap thanks to the medium tires fitted at the end. Second reference for Ai Ogura, riding the Aprilia Trackhouse. Aleix Espargaro follows him, third with the Honda. The most anticipated protagonists are far away, with the exception of Alex Marquez and Pedro Acosta: eighteenth Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia), while Francesco Bagnaia finished twenty-first, penalized by a technical problem on his Ducati GP25 which kept him in the pits for a long time.

HIDDEN BIG

Fourth time for the other Aprilia Trackhouse, ridden by Raul Fernandez. Followed by the Ducati GP24s of Franco Morbidelli (VR46) and Alex Marquez (Gresini): the latter shows a decent pace. Seventh Joan Mir, who precedes an Acosta who is more attentive to race pace. The top 10 closes with Fabio Di Giannantonio (VR46) and Augusto Fernandez, riding the Yamaha equipped with a V4 engine. The session, held on a dry track, does not give direct access to Q2. So several riders prefer to concentrate their work on race pace. This is how Fabio Quartararo’s fourteenth time should be seen. Similar speech for Bezzecchi and Bagnaia. Twenty-fourth time for the returning Jorge Martin. The 2024 MotoGP champion had been missing from the track since the Japanese GP, when he caused an accident during the Sprint, injuring himself. The Spaniard will have to serve a double long lap penalty.
