The Saudi Arabia chapter seems to have ended prematurely for Neymar. The Brazilian superstar was not registered for the second half of the Saudi Pro League. Coach Jorge Jesus confirmed on Friday that the 32-year-old no longer plays a role in Al-Hilal’s plans.
“Neymar is no longer at the level we are used to. Unfortunately, things have become difficult for him,” Jesus told a press conference. The offensive player’s contract expires in the summer. Neymar only moved to the Saudi record champions in the summer of 2023 for a transfer fee of 90 million euros.
