Russia is accused of downing an Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane. It crashed in Kazakhstan on Christmas Day. There were 67 people on board, 38 of whom did not survive. The response from Russia is that a bird flew into the engine. Russia is also continuing with hybrid warfare, according to Patrick Bolder, defense expert at the Hague Center for Strategic Studies.
