Moscow distributes one-time child benefit to parents in occupied Ukrainian territories | Abroad

Parents of children between the ages of six and eighteen receive a one-off payment of 10,000 rubles or about 167 euros. The rule applies in the Donetsk, Luhansk and Kharkiv regions in the east of the country, as well as in the southern regions of Kherson and Zaporizhzhya.

Moscow has been trying for some time to gain the support of the population in the occupied territories in various ways. Earlier, the Kremlin also offered them Russian passports and money.
