Mortality from COVID-19 in the third quarter of 2021 much lower than the first half of the year

In the months of July, August and September of 2021, the number of deaths with COVID-19 as the cause of death decreased significantly compared to the previous months. This is reported by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) on Tuesday. In total, 953 people died in the third quarter, 2,602 in the second quarter and 8,666 in the first three months of 2021.
