Morocco’s victory is celebrated on a grand scale in Brabant cities

The 1-0 victory of the Moroccan national football team over Portugal at the World Cup in Qatar is celebrated in various places in Brabant. Several hundred fans of Morocco took to the streets on the Stationsplein in Den Bosch. A traffic jam has developed in the center of honking cars and supporters waving flags. The victory is also celebrated in Eindhoven and Helmond.

Because of the victory, the Moroccan team will play the semi-final against England or France next week. The atmosphere in the cities is good for the time being. There is a lot of police on the scene in both Eindhoven and Den Bosch. For the time being, the police are present in the background. Fireworks are set off in various places. There is also singing and music made on drums.

The center of Eindhoven is occupied by revelers. The 18 Septemberplein and the Kruisstraat, among others, are filled with Moroccan football fans. According to a bystander, there is a lot of police in the background. The victory is also celebrated in the Heistraat in Helmond.
