Almost three years after the sensational semi-finals in Qatar, Morocco has once again qualified for a World Cup.

The goals scored Ismael Saibari (29th minute/38.), Ayoub El Kaabi (51.), Hamza Igamane (69.) and Azzedine Ounahi (84.).
The table runners -up Tanzania had clung to 1-1 in Congo a few hours earlier. The opponent of Niger only outnumbered after a yellow-red card in the 26th minute. After that, the team with its star players Achraf Hakimi (Paris Saint-Germain), Brahim Diaz (Real Madrid) and the Neu-Leverkusener Eliesse Ben Seghir had an easy game.
Morocco had defeated Belgium, Spain and Portugal in Qatar in 2022 and thus the first African team achieved a World Cup semi-final. There was a 0-2 defeat against France. The game for third place against Croatia was also lost 1-2.
