Sales holiday home rises: ‘You don’t have to go far for the holiday feeling’
A house on the water, in the forest, with your feet in the sand and with the coffee on your own veranda: it sounds like a dream, but for more and more people it becomes reality. The sale of holiday homes is on the rise again after a dip, according to figures from the Land Registry. Almost 4600 holiday homes were sold in 2024, an increase of 15 percent compared to a year earlier. On average, buyers resigned around € 245,000 for their second home.
