More than 10,000 residents of affected Los Angeles neighborhoods are allowed to return to their (remains of) home

In the Pacific Palisades and Altadena neighborhoods of Los Angeles, several residents are allowed to return to their homes or the place where their homes once stood. The city’s fire department tells The Los Angeles Times that about 11,000 evacuees can return because the fires have been further brought under control.
