More expensive water in times of drought “is not on the table,” Minister Brouns reassures

According to Minister Jo Brouns (CD&V), a dynamic rate for water consumption, with possibly higher rates in times of drought, is “not on the table”. “That is also not in the coalition agreement and is not the case,” said the CD&V minister on Wednesday in the Flemish Parliament in response to questions from Hannes Anaf (Vooruit), Dries Devillé (Vlaams Belang) and Hans Vanhoof (N-VA).
