The number of traffic accidents has increased again in the past year. Nowhere in the Netherlands did the number of traffic accidents increase as fast as in our province. And this year, too, the counter is running fast. With two months to go in this calendar year, the number of fatal accidents is already numerous. That while the province’s spearhead is to reduce the number of accidents in Brabant, under the motto ‘Brabant goes for ZERO’. At least that didn’t work for this year. The exact figures for the full year are not yet complete, but looking back at the year already yields a lot of sad news. These accidents were so severe that they are still burned into our retinas.
