A person was injured in an accident with a horse and carriage near Schoonloo this afternoon. On the Olle Hullenweg, the driver fell from the car for unknown reasons.
According to the police, the victim was seriously injured. The driver has been taken to a hospital. Several emergency services arrived on the scene, an air ambulance was also called and landed in a nearby field. The Olle Hullenweg was temporarily closed due to the accident.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
