Morcheba are often described as pioneers of the trip shop. However, their music spreads several genres and finds their sound between downbeat, chillout, electric pop and soul. Her eleventh studio album, “Escape the Chaos”, will be released on May 23 and the first two singles of the record have already been published. With “Call for Love” and “We Live and Die”, the duo already offers a small foretaste and again proves a feel for deep melodies, haunting texts and atmospheric sounds.
The British band gained its fame as early as the 1990s. Since then they have made a few cast change: singer Skye Edwards left the band in the meantime, but has been there again since 2010. In 2014, Paul Godfrey also separated from the group. Since then, Morcheba has been making music in a double pack with Skye Edwards and Ross Godfrey, and this constellation will also go on tour.
