Ferrari, McLaren and Mercedes in the front row in the poster presented in Rome to celebrate the longest -running GP of automotive
Pride and pride. At the ACI headquarters in via Marsala (Termini area), the poster for the 96th GP of Italy in Monza was presented in Rome which will take place on Sunday 7 September. In the foreground, Ferrari, McLaren and Mercedes are distinguished (“the three cars representing world motoring”, explained General Tullio del Sette) wrapped in a vortex made up of green, white and red that represent the Italian flag. The word “The Temple of Speed” also emerges, that is “the temple of speed”. The honorable Giovanni Battista Tombolato stressed: “We are the only ones in the world to have organized 96 editions of the Grand Prix, behind us there are Monte Carlo with 71 and Silverstone with 60. I think Monza is something sacred”.

Geronimo La Russa, elected new ACI president on 9 July with 78% of the votes (he will take the witness from Angelo Sticchi Damiani), he said he was particularly happy with the event. “Monza is home for me. My experience in Aci started 16 years ago and Monza has always been for all fans, including me, the temple of speed. A place where magic are born, where Italian motorsport has managed to become the protagonist in the world, thanks to the foresight of the ACI system. The posters are real pieces of art, capable of passing on an important and glorious story in time. Formula 1 World Championship, and finding a place, possibly in Monza, where you can explore them and make them known to future generations.
