Despite the move into the final of the European Championship, Spain has to go national coach. Now she criticizes the association.
After her release as a Spanish national coach, Montserrat Tomé has first publicly commented – and expressed significant criticism of the Spanish Football Association RFEF. In the radio show “El Larguero”, the 43-year-old explained on Wednesday that she had not been informed directly about the decision.
Tomé disturb this type of communication. “Nobody from the association told me that,” she said. “You informed my consultants by message.” She also accused Rfef President Rafael Louzan Wortbruch. Before the European Championship, he assured her to be able to stay in office at a successful tournament course. “I am disappointed with how everything went. He didn’t keep his promise,” said Tomé. The team had reached the European Championship final under their lead.
Despite the criticism, Tomé showed himself. Discharge is part of the business, she said: “You get a better trainer when you are thrown out somewhere. I have grown very much.” She saw that no player had said goodbye to the public. Many would have contacted her personally, by message or call. “I always felt very respected and loved,” she emphasized.
