Mona Keijzer, minister on behalf of the BBB, is completely crazy about the questions she gets from Jaïr Ferwerda all the time. “Really, I’m just stopping it. Take a normal way, man.”

Political reporter Jaïr Ferwerda is sitting every evening with his political section in the late talk show of RTL 4. For that he is also posting at the Council of Ministers every week, where he then asks some teasing questions to the members of the cabinet. And that is what BBB minister Mona Keijzer slowly starts to hang out a bit.

‘Then you stumble’

Last week there was a lot of fuss about royal awards for which asylum minister Marjolein Faber did not want to sign. “You had to get on at the time because you did not agree with the corona policy. Did Faber have had to do that this week?” Asks Jaïr in an interview with Mona.

She then: “I can advise everyone not to look always, because then you stumble.”

Jaïr: “Yes, but after this week I find that very easy to say that, completely after what happened.”

‘That’s how I am put together’

Mona doesn’t want to look back on the ribbon riot. “That’s how I am put together. You know me. I all have tiles with spells on it and I have this too. If you look back, you stumble.”

Jaïr then against the PVV minister in question: “Mrs Faber, what a week this, right?”

Marjolein: “I just do my job, right?”

Was it a PR stunt? “No, it was a matter of principle. I think I have plenty of other points to score.”

“I’m stopping it!”

After the Council of Ministers, Jaïr again speaks with Mona. “Did it go well? No fight with Faber this time?” He asks, pointing to an argument that both ministers would have had.

Mona Pissig: “Really, I’m just stopping it. Take a normal way, man.”

Jaïr: “Well, last week we had big heads, right?”

Mona: “That can all be, but stop. Stop.”
