On the sidelines of the Champions League semifinals between Inter and AC Milan, TV presenter Kate Abdo involuntarily provided a funny television moment. With her slip of the tongue, she upset three football legends and made them laugh.
What happened? Before the explosive premier class game in the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in Milan, Abdo prepared the spectators for the city derby together with the experts Thierry Henry (45), Jamie Garragher (45) and Micah Richards (34). The quartet was in action for US broadcaster CBS Sports. But the presenter seemed to have forgotten that for a short time.
“Speaking of which, there are a few other people who aren’t lucky enough to be here tonight,” she said before the momentous Maheur passed her. “You Fox Sports… Fox Sports?” She immediately corrected herself: “We’re on CBS!”

At least as wonderful as the slip of the tongue are the reactions of the three former footballers, where there was no stopping them. Liverpool icon Carragher burst out laughing. And Richards couldn’t help but smile.
Henry, who played for Arsenal and Barcelona, among others, lost all facial features. The 1998 World Champion put the microphone on the table and took three steps back.

The presenter, who initially also turned away from the cameras, tried to cover up her unpleasant mistake with humor. “Oh man, I’m about to get fired. I’m so sorry guys,” said Abdo, trying to cover up her awkward mistake with humor.
Liverpool icon Carragher was also jokingly worried about the future, but already had a solution ready: “We’re all going to be fired. Are there still jobs at Fox?” said the Liverpool icon.
