Brazilian registered beauty Gleycy Correia’s tonsil surgery has ended. Correia, 27, fell into a coma after surgery. The young model was taken to the intensive care unit when she suffered a heart attack due to severe blood loss five days after the operation.
According to the news in the Daily Mail; Gleycy Correia, who lost her two-month struggle to survive in the intensive care unit, passed away two days ago.
“WRONG INTERVENTION”
Correia’s family friend, Jak Abreu, said in a statement on his social media account that the family absolutely believed that their daughter died due to the wrong intervention during the surgery.
Abreu also said, “God chose this day to take our princess. We know you will miss her very much, but now she will light up the sky with her smile…”
Lidiane Alves Oliviera, another source close to the family, said: “She had surgery to remove her tonsils and suffered bleeding after staying at home for five days. She had a heart attack on April 4 and has been in a coma since then without any neurological activity. Then she passed away.”
