The Dallas Stars suffered a stinging 5-7 loss at home to the Anaheim Ducks.

The star shirts led the match 2–0 after the first set and 3–2 in the second set, but that was the only way the visitors rumbled to victory.

From the hosts, the Finnish stars reached a ferocious intensity Miro Heiskanen and Mikko Rantanen.
