This is the second repatriation flight. This departed this afternoon from Cologne, Germany.

Yesterday, an Airbus A330 picked up 199 stranded travelers from the Netherlands in Tel Aviv. The aircraft then took off from Eindhoven Air Base.

The passengers on board the returning aircraft had registered with the Foreign Affairs Information Service. They were called back and asked if they wanted to join the military aircraft.

The repatriation flights therefore involve a partnership between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense.

Defense takes into account that the Foreign Affairs will also request the removal of Dutch nationals from Israel in the coming days. In order to immediately meet that demand, the military organization is already planning more flights.
