His last match with the Milan shirt risks being the one at the end of October in Bergamo when he felt a new discomfort in his ankle and then decided to stop. A few weeks of conservative therapy, now the choice to have surgery. The feeling is that the problem has been present for some time and that the former Feyenoord player gritted his teeth as long as he could, only to then raise the white flag when he realized that his performance was influenced by the discomfort he felt.
