The Colorado Avalanche defeated the Nashville Predators 4-3 in their last regular season game to secure a first-round playoff opponent against the Seattle Kraken.

There was no doubt about the biggest star of the match, because Nathan MacKinnon hit a hat trick and added one assist. MacKinnon scored two goals in ten minutes in the opening set and completed the deciding goal in the final set.

A Finnish chain friend Mikko Rantanen passed MacKinnon’s two hits.

The Finnish talent scared the puck fans in the opening set. Predators Jakov Trenin tackled Ranta from a dead corner in the open ice, as a result of which the attacker fell to the ice. Rantanen had to leave the locker room.

Fortunately for Colorado, however, the Finn returned to the ice in the same set.
