The Michelin stars of Nordic restaurants were published on Monday in Denmark.
Palace and Grön from Helsinki are restaurants with two Michelin stars. Grön reached his second star this year. Established in 2015, the restaurant received its first Michelin star already in 2018.
Finland has never had two restaurants with two Michelin stars before.
Other Finnish Michelin restaurants have one star. There is still no restaurant with three Michelin stars in Finland.
As a new restaurant, Boreal received a Michelin star. Instead, The Room, which was awarded a Michelin star in 2024, is no longer among the star restaurants, as it closed its doors.
There are now eight Michelin star restaurants in Finland.
The ceremony was held in Copenhagen at the Tivoli concert hall.
– It is a center for sharing the latest culinary trends, says the Michelin Guide on the ceremony’s website.
Last year, the Nordic Michelin stars were awarded in Odsherred in the Anneberg cultural park. In 2024 and 2023, the ceremony was organized in Finland.
