Michel donated kidney to colleague Martin, now they are inseparable: ‘I might not have been there anymore’

Since Michel Prins gave his kidney to his deadly colleague Martin Kramer six years ago, the two people in their fifties are inseparable. They celebrate the milestones in their lives together. It was therefore obvious that Kramer and his family were present last weekend when his donor got married to his girlfriend Marscha Bartens. “Our connection feels like a blood band. We are friends for life,” says the visibly emotional Kramer.
