The fashion group MF Brands Group has appointed a new boss for its brand Aigle. The group of companies announced on Monday that Valérie Dassier had been appointed CEO of the French outdoor label. At Aigle, she succeeded Sandrine Conseiller and, according to the company, is now responsible for “promoting the development of the brand in France and internationally”, strengthening the various sales channels, including online sales, and the product strategy, which is “based on the combination of functionality, style and creativity”.

Dassier was most recently responsible for marketing and digital at the French clothing retailer IKKS as Deputy Managing Director. Before that, she held various management positions at well-known fashion brands such as Kenzo, Comptoir des Cotonniers and Princesse tam.tam, as well as at retailer Le Bon Marché, and meanwhile managed her own e-commerce company.

Thierry Guibert, the CEO of the MF Brands Group, praised the new Aigle boss as a “courageous entrepreneur” and “an expert in the areas of fashion, retail and digitization who has already successfully led some transformation processes”. So she brings “everything that the brand needs”. In addition to Aigle, the MF Brands Group, which emerged from the fashion division of the Swiss Maus Frères group in 2020, also includes the labels Lacoste, Gant, The Kooples and Tecnifibre.
