Mediterranean Odyssey
A journey along the coast of the Mediterranean, characterized by light, lightness and timeless elegance. With “Mediterranean Odyssey” mey combines a relaxed lifestyle and modern clarity and tells of places where the sea, architecture and culture merge.
Two design approaches characterize the collection. MODERNS interpret the Mediterranean world emotionally and visually, inspired by coasts, landscapes and architectural details. CLASSIC translates these impressions into a reduced, graphic design language with clear designs such as stripes, micro-geos and calm all-overs. Together, two complementary perspectives are created, from expressive to timeless, connected by a harmonious world of colors.
The start is on the French Riviera with “Seaside Escape”. Maritime stripes, light colors and playful details reflect the feeling of a stylish start to summer. The MODERNS segment combines the ease of traveling with the iconic charm of “Peanuts” and translates this feeling into a modern capsule collection from mey x “Peanuts”: striped motifs are reminiscent of parasols and beach clubs, while all-over designs with Snoopy and Woodstock as well as postcard and stamp looks take up the theme of “Bon Voyage”. The color scheme ranges between clear white, deep yacht blue and soft sky blue nuances, complemented by accents in ultramarine, green and yellow.
At the same time, the new 24/7 segment opens the collection. It defines the smooth transition from loungewear to nightwear and beyond: styles that work at home and can also be worn on a coffee run or at the weekend, reduced in design and high-quality in material and workmanship. The first delivery date “Coastal Jungle” is inspired by the quiet side of the coast. An earthy, muted palette of stonewash, covered green, olive mud and marine underlines the relaxed character, with series such as “Midnight Denim” made of real indigo and “Soft Escape” with 3D palm print in a fine embroidery look.
With the second delivery date, the trip shifts to the Greek islands with “Aegean Icons”. Whitewashed architecture, intense blue and green tones and graphic structures form a clear visual world. Iconic elements are translated into expressive MODERNS, such as “Palms & No Plans” or “Coastal Wings” with stylized pelicans, as well as into precisely reduced CLASSIC designs such as “Cloud Geo” or “Travel Stripes”. The second 24/7 delivery date “Shades of Summer” captures this lightness in a bright, summery atmosphere, with a warm, understated palette of Ivory, Stone and Quartz Grey.
The world of Mediterranean seafood taverns concludes with “From Sea to Shore”. Striking lobster motifs, graphic stripes with seafood elements and abstract seaweed motifs tell of sociable moments by the sea. While MODERNS stage this scenery expressively, for example with “Catch & Cheers” or “Taverna Dance”, CLASSIC translates it into clear patterns such as “Beach Stripes” and “Summery Circle”.
Gentlemen’s Jungle
In harmony between the metropolis and nature, “Gentlemen’s Jungle” is a collection for mey / MODERN MINIMALS and mey / LUXURY that combines urban lifestyle and tropical lightness. Iconic designs such as flamingos, toucans and stylized sharks meet humorous elements, from French bulldogs with surfboards to graphically interpreted cocktail motifs. Series such as “Paws & Waves”, “Last Call”, “Stand Out”, “Big Beak Energy”, “On The Rocks” and “No Small Bites” appear as mini designs in an all-over look. The particularly soft modal/elastane mix guarantees a high level of comfort. Deep navy and strong black form the masculine base, complemented by accents in Rapture Rose, Ocean Breath, Peach Fuzz and the fresh New Secco. The clean plain series “Selection” and “Jefferson” round off the line.
Swimwear and NOS
mey / LIFESTYLE and mey / ACTIVES expand the theme into beachwear: swim shorts such as “Palms & No Plans”, “Sun, Salt & Olives”, “Aegean Sea” and “mey x Peanuts” as well as coordinated resort sets such as “Structured Links” and “Knitted Rhapsody” combine function and style. The season is complemented by NOS new launches, including functional bodywear with a “Pole Position Support” jockstrap and the “Best of Cotton” daywear series made from 93% cotton and 7% elastane.
The result is a balanced collection that develops from playful to reduced to strong in character, complemented by the calming 24/7 segment and the harmonious interplay of MODERN and CLASSIC.
