The Mexican national soccer team lost their last pre-World Cup pre-season game 2-1 to Sweden.
In the Estadi Montilivi in Girona, Spain, Marcus Rohden (54th minute) and Mattias Svanberg (84th), who plays for VfL Wolfsburg, scored the Swedish goals. Alexis Vega had provided the interim compensation (60th).
Mexico will start the World Cup against Poland on November 22nd. The other opponents in the preliminary round are Argentina (November 26) and Saudi Arabia (November 30). Sweden did not qualify for the finals in Qatar.
