Since May 20, the first of several spectacular auctions around Elvis Presley on the online marketplace has been running Catawiki. Curated memorabilia around the King change the owner every two weeks. There are gold records, awards and rare vinyls, personal objects and signed collectibles.
Overall, the collection that comes under the hammer includes almost 2000 objects. According to Catawiki, all of them are provided with certificates of authenticity and will be offered until next year.
“The original collector has built up and maintained this collection for over six decades with great passion,” explains Azing Moltmaker, current owner of the lovers. “In old age, it became increasingly difficult for him to take care of everything. I made sure that the pieces are seen. Now it is time to find Elvis a new home.”
Auction the Teddy or turntable of Elvis Presley
Many of the exhibits are particularly rare or have a very personal connection to the singer. These include, for example, a silver make-up set from its military period in Germany, a signed napkin from his wedding with Priscilla, a book from the Presleys private library (“A Subtrean of American Humor”) and sunglasses and even a teddy from the musician.

While the make -up set is estimated at around 10,000 – 25,000 euros, the book is probably already available for 2000 to 5000 euros.
Other objects of auction are a gold ring with lapis lazuli, a signed turntable from the 50s, a suit from the film “Wild in the Country”.

“Each of the objects on offer creates a tangible connection to the King of Rock’n’roll – be it the on -board phone that he used on a flight or one of his personal rings. It is not simply memorial, but an authentic access to Elvis’ legendary world,” says the platform.
The current auction with objects from the Elvis Presley Museum runs exclusively on Catawiki until May 30th.
