Actor Jamie Foxx, 57, has been involved in a fight at a Chinese restaurant in California, according to multiple media sources.
British newspaper Mirror by police said the actor was involved in a fight, while Foxx’s spokesperson told NBC bythat someone threw a glass at Foxx’s mouth.
The clash took place at a restaurant called Mr Chow on Friday after 22:00 local time. According to the police, the incident involved “a physical dispute between the parties”.
NBC’s and According to Page Six Foxx was at a restaurant celebrating his birthday when someone from another table threw a glass that hit the actor in the mouth. After this, Foxx had to be quilted. He reportedly left the restaurant when the police arrived.
According to Foxx’s representative, the actor is currently recovering.
– The matter is now being processed by the police, the representative said.
It was previously reported that Foxx had revealed in a recent Netflix show that he suffered a stroke due to a cerebral hemorrhage on April 11.
Foxx has had a long career as an actor. He is known for movies like Rio and Django Unchained.
