Medemblik dead yard: two suspected of killing Croatian Herni (54) together

The two men (both 28 years old) who have been detained since mid-March for the death of 54-year-old Herni Lukačević are suspected of having carried out the murder together. This is reported by the Public Prosecution Service. The Croat’s body was found in a yard on the Vereweg in Medemblik at the end of September.

The two 28-year-old suspects were arrested by the police on Monday, March 13. They come from Amsterdam and Diemen. They are currently the only suspects in the investigation. The Public Prosecution Service says that no one else has been arrested.

Henri Herni Lukačević, 54, was killed in a crime at the end of September. He was found in a yard on the Vereweg. Investigations have been carried out on the site for days. It was a coming and going of officers and detectives in white suits.

In court

Why Henri was killed is still unclear. Both suspects must appear in court for the first time on 19 and 26 June. In an interim session it will then become clear how the investigation into the death of the Croat is progressing and whether the suspects will be detained longer.
