Blankenberge may soon be a McDonald’s richer. The chain wants to settle in Kerkstraat 145, near Koning Leopold III square and a stone’s throw from the station. The building is along the route that many day tourists take towards Zeedijk, which makes the location extra interesting for the fast food giant.

McDonald’s Belgium had previously announced that it is interested in the seaside town. So now an application has been officially submitted for an environmental permit. It is available for inspection at the Urban Building Department from 3 August to 1 September.
