Maurice Steijn will lead his first training at Ajax on Saturday. The new coach starts with a relatively small group. Devyne Rensch, Kenneth Taylor and Brian Brobbey are still active with the Dutch Juniors at the European championship in Georgia and Romania. The other players who recently had international obligations also do not have to report yet.
Steijn, who came over from Sparta, signed a contract for three seasons with Ajax two weeks ago. Saïd Bakkati and Hedwiges Maduro are his assistants.
PSV, which also has a new head coach in Peter Bosz, will train for the first time on Monday.
