The cause of death of actor Matthew Perry, who died at the end of October, has been determined. According to the Los Angeles medical examiner, Perry’s death was an accident caused by the “acute effects of ketamine.”
Drowning was also cited as a contributing factor in the cause of death report. The news agency Reuters reported on the matter.
Perry was 54 years old when he died. He was found at the bottom of the hot tub in his home. Perry was pronounced dead at home and was not taken to the hospital.
He was buried six days after his death. According to TMZ, 20 of Perry’s closest people attended the event. Perry’s parents and Friends-actor colleagues.
