Soon-to-be-Frankfurt Arrhov in second place

The market value update in the Swedish league brings several talents into focus that are also interesting for German clubs. Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Dortmund are linked with Matias Siltanen (18) and Kevin Filling (16), respectively, being among the biggest winners of the update. Love Arrhov (17), whose move to SGE has already been confirmed, is also continuing to grow and is now even approaching the top of the league in the market value ranking despite his young age.
In addition to Frankfurt, Siltanen was recently rumored to be an issue at Bayer Leverkusen. The Finn made his breakthrough at Djurgårdens IF early this year. The 18-year-old made 27 starting eleven appearances in midfield for Stockholm, who were the only team to manage to beat surprise champions Mjällby AIF this season. Siltanen’s upgrade from one million to 3.5 million is the largest in the current Allsvenskan update.
“Even though Djurgården didn’t play the season we had hoped for, Siltanen proved to be a key player,” explains TM data scout “Joelclae”. “Since he is already such an important player in Djurgården’s midfield at just 18 years old, there is no way around a corresponding upgrade. At 3.5 million euros, he is now one of the most valuable midfielders in Sweden. He has proven that he belongs there for a long time with his quality and the interest of larger clubs.”

Filling in BVB focus – difficult to find market value
Striker Filling has also attracted interest from a larger club – at just 16 years old. When the BVB rumor about the Swede with Senegalese roots became known, the parallel to ex-Dortmunder Alexander Isak came to mind. Like Filling, the current Liverpool star also played for AIK. Isak was also only 17 years old when he moved to BVB in 2016/17. Filling turns 17 at the end of the month and, like Isak, would require a million-dollar transfer. With the update, the striker’s market value is now estimated at 1.8 million euros. It is the first evaluation in the career of the young professional, who is tied to AIK until 2028.
“We didn’t want to set Filling’s initial market value too high, but we also didn’t want to underestimate it,” says data scout “Joelclae” about the difficulty of finding Filling’s market value. “He is undoubtedly a great talent, but has not played enough to justify a higher value,” says the expert. “Filling was in the starting line-up in two games and played around 250 minutes. In this short time he scored two goals in the Allsvenskan. 1.8 million is appropriate given the great interest. A higher value would have been conceivable if he had played more.”

Soon-to-be-Frankfurter Arrhov – “Sweden’s next great midfielder”
Meanwhile, “Joelclae” sees the biggest talent in the Swedish league in the soon-to-be Frankfurt Arrhov. The 17-year-old attacking midfielder comes to the Hessians in the January transfer window for a €4.6 million transfer from Brommapojkarna. “For me, Arrhov is an absolutely exceptional talent in the Allsvenskan and has proven his qualities throughout the season,” emphasizes the TM expert. “The transfer fee of 4.5 million is an absolute top deal, and I am convinced that clubs like AIK, Djurgården and Co. would have demanded a higher transfer fee than BP.” I firmly believe that Arrhov is Sweden’s next great midfielder.”
Arrhov improves his valuation from 4 million euros to 5 million euros, making him one of the 15 most valuable footballers up to the age of 17 in the world. In the Swedish league, shortly before the farewell, he moved to second place. Only Hugo Bolin (22) from Malmö, whose market value remains unchanged in this update, is ahead of the future Eintracht talent at 6 million euros.
This is how transfer market market values work
The transfer market market values are created taking into account various pricing models as well as a strong involvement of the transfer market community, which deals with the values in detailed discussions. The transfer market market values cannot generally be equated with the transfer fees actually paid.
The goal is not to predict a price, but rather an expected value. When determining the market value, both individual transfer modalities and situational conditions are relevant to a certain extent. Examples of this are listed here. Transfermarkt does not use an algorithm (for detailed market value definition).
