Interim update Liga Dimayor Apertura
In the interim update of the Colombian League Dimayor, the two most valuable players remain at the top despite devaluations. Both Daniel Ruiz Rivera and Yairo Moreno, the two biggest losers, have seen their market value drop by 500,000 euros, but no other footballer in Colombia’s first league can come close to their 4 million and 3.5 million euros respectively .
Ruiz Rivera returned to Millonarios FC after an unsuccessful stay in Brazil, but his level since then has not been as high as in previous seasons. Moreno, on the other hand, who moved to Independiente Medellín on a free transfer, falls in the rating due to very irregular playing time.
Meanwhile, the market value curve for 17-year-old shooting star Oscar Perea is pointing upwards. The left winger, who is currently making a name for himself at Atlético Nacional, increases by 600,000 euros to 850,000 euros, making him the top winner of the update. At his young age, the winger is already a regular player and his forecast for the future raises great expectations – not only among the Green-Whites, but also among possible future interested parties.
Also worth highlighting is the 400,000 euro gain from Medellín’s Edwuin Cetré, the biggest winner after Perea, who is now valued at 1.2 million euros. This upgrade results from the right winger’s twelve goals across all competitions in 2023, coupled with his viable age of 25.
