The proud Mariska Bauer was proud of the first row last weekend at a performance by her son Christiaan at Wielerfeest De Draa van de Kaai in Roosendaal. Not as a presenter or well -known Dutchman, but simply as a mother and fangirl. “I filmed everything,” she writes on social media. “Including people who thought: who is that woman in the front with that energy? Well. I am his mother. And I don’t have a shame. Only gigabytes full of videos.”
Before the performance, the Brabantse helped her eldest son (24) just a backstage with his outfit. Then she was waiting outside with her other son Frans Jr., “as a kind of backing vocals”.
Backstage she of course scored selfies with artists, “Like any self-respecting Fangirl does, because say honestly: if your child acts, then you are just the first in the Meet & Greet-Rine.”
