Maria Sittel spoke about her colleague Mikhail Zelenskywhom I have known for many years. She told what a bright and deep person the journalist and TV presenter was. According to Sittel, Zelensky’s departure is a great loss for his colleagues and friends.
“In 2001, when I came to this channel, he was already here, and somehow the circumstances developed, we became friends immediately, in fact, from the first days of our acquaintance,” the TV presenter recalls. They helped each other in their work and had long friendly disputes, celebrated holidays together, participated in various television projects. When they first met, Zelenskiy entered his number into Sittel’s phone book and wrote: “Zelya.”
“And since then he has remained Zelei. He is very deep, wise, calm and sensual. And at the same time emotionally hysterical, so bright, sunny! How he greeted the audience, how he greeted his colleagues, how he bowed! The impression was that no one even knows how to do this, as he did! ” Said Maria Sittel.
She added that Mikhail Zelensky stubbornly resisted the vicissitudes of fate, difficulties, diseases – everything that happened to him. The TV presenter called him a warrior and a man of honor.
“He desperately loved life! This is what his smile always spoke about and testified to. He loved life in a way that, it seems to me, none of us can do it. But in his own way! Of course, he lived backhand, he lived, maybe be, with some advance, a little with anguish, “- said the TV presenter. She added that Zelensky taught others to treat life as sunny and bright as he himself did.

Mikhail Zelensky died suddenly at the age of 46. When he and his wife were on vacation in the Dominican Republic, he felt bad. Zelenskiy was taken to a local clinic, but doctors were unable to save him.
