Another tragedy in the world of skiing after that of Matilde Lorenzi: the promise of French skiing Margot Simond died during a workout in Val d’Isère on the occasion of the Red Bull Alpine Park event. The eighteen year old fell and nothing was able to intervene: the impact was fatal. The Alberville prosecutor has opened an investigation into the accident.

Margot Simond, born in Aillons Margeriaz, in Savoy, and associated with the ski club of Les Saisise, was a promise of French skiing. National Under 18 champion, this year he had made his debut in the European Cup and participated in the Juniores World Cup in Tarvisio.
