Marco Schuitmaker became the big winner on Monday during the presentation of the Buma NL Awards. His hit Guardian Angel, written by Pierre Kartner, who died last year, was declared the most successful single of 2023 in Tilburg in 2013. The song also received the award for most successful pub hit.
