The performance of Two lives: on stage there will also be two figures

As he was able to tell, the artist will compete with the song thanks to which he triumphed at the last Sanremo Festival. It will be in one shortened version, given that the Eurovision regulation requires you to present songs no longer than three minutes long. But the song is so important to him that the idea of ​​introducing it to a global audience is thrilling.

The first countries that have been awarded a place in the final

In the first appointment yesterday, Tuesday 9 May, fifteen countries exhibited. Between these only ten obtained a ticket for the final on Saturday 13 May. So which countries will challenge Italy on the final evening of the event? Croatia, Moldova, Switzerland, Finland, Czech Republic, Israel, Portugal, Sweden, Serbia and Norway.

These countries, therefore, will certainly perform on Saturday evening. In addition to them, we will also see – as already mentioned – the “Big Five” and the Ukrainelast year’s winning nation.

As known, usually the country that triumphs at Eurovision hosts the competition the following year. This year, for obvious reasons, it was not possible to move the organizational machinery to Kiev. And Liverpool was chosen as the nerve center of the show (held at the Liverpool Arena).

But this year’s slogan – United by Music – remember the reason for this move. AND invites everyone to be united in the name of music. As it should be.

But participation in Eurovision is not Marco Mengoni’s only commitment. In this period, in fact, the artist has a busy schedule. The song Dear Distant Love written by Sergio Endrigo and performed by Mengoni is a candidate as Best Original Song to the David di Donatello. During this evening’s ceremony, in fact, we will find out if this song of hers contained in the soundtrack of Francesca Archibugi’s film, The Hummingbirdwill allow him to take home another prize.

And that’s not all. If that’s true it will be released on May 26th Matter (Prism)the new album by Mengonithe third that concludes the multi-platinum trilogy Matterat the same time the artist is also preparing his live comeback. In fact, his tour will start from June 20th Marco in the stadiums. A tour that, in fact, will see him return to perform in the main Italian cities.
