Marcel Brands will become general manager of PSV as of next season. He succeeds Toon Gerbands, who stops at the Eindhoven club after eight years.
Toon Gerbands will retire after this season. He still had a contract until 2025 but is now paving the way for Marcel Brands to return.
Brands was already successful technical director at PSV in the past. He was seen as a dream candidate to succeed Gerbrands in the long term. After the former football player stopped at Everton last season, he is now free to become general manager of the Eindhoven team.
